With
WirelessAdmin, you can view a list of services running on the Windows NT
4.0 or Windows 2000 machine on which WirelessAdmin is installed. From
that list, you can either start or stop the service that you select.
These functions are available through the Service Control
menu option.
Starting
or stopping a service is as simple as scrolling up or down to the
desired application and selecting "Start" or "Stop".
The
Start and Stop menu option toggles dynamically. If a service
is currently running, the menu option will ready Stop. Conversely,
if a service is currently stopped, the menu option will read Start.
Selecting, starting
and stopping Windows services with WirelessAdmin is equivalent to opening
the Windows Service Control manager, selecting a service and choosing
to either start or stop depending on its current state.
