With
WirelessAdmin, you can logoff, reboot and shutdown the machine on which
WirelessAdmin is installed. These functions are available through
the Reboot / Shutdown Server menu option. Logging off, rebooting
or shutting down a server is as simple as scrolling up or down to
the desired function and selecting "GO".
Logging off
from through WirelessAdmin is the equivalent of selecting "Log Off
[Username]" from the Windows Start menu.
For rebooting
the machine on which WirelessAdmin is installed, WirelessAdmin supports two options:
Reboot and Hard Reboot. Reboot is the equivalent of selecting
Start --> Shut Down --> Restart from the Windows Start menu.
Hard Reboot is a feature specific to WirelessAdmin and does not have
a direct equivalent in Windows. It is for use at the times
that the standard Windows Restart option is unable to restart the
system.
For shutting
down the machine on which WirelessAdmin is installed, WirelessAdmin supports two
options: Shutdown and Forced Shutdown. Shutdown is the equivalent
of selecting Start --> Shut Down --> Shut Down from the Windows
Start menu. Forced Shutdown is a feature specific to WirelessAdmin
and does not have a direct equivalent in Windows. It is for
use at the times that the standard Windows Shut Down option is unable
to shut down the system.
