Introduction
Task Tsar v1.1 is a "self-administration" application, designed to increase the up-time of Windows NT and 2000 servers and workstations. Today's software landscape is ever changing, with software companies releasing updates one after the other, all the while the next version of Windows is just around the corner, forcing even more updates and patches. This give rise to memory leaks, services stopping, services hanging, run away processor usage, hard drives filled to capacity and more.
Task Tsar is designed to tame misbehaved Windows services and applications through service automated service monitoring, software rejuvenation, and administrative tasks. Additionally, Task Tsar can notify you via email that it has performed its task.

Set Task Tsar to monitor one or more of your critical services. If it
finds that the service has stopped, it can restart it.

Rejuvenation
Many Windows applications leak memory. You can see this by monitoring
your server memory over time. And many of these leaky applications work
fine, except for they fact that they leak memory. Many others eventually crash
or hang. Task Tsar can rejuvenate these services by cycling them on a
schedule, allowing Windows to re-claim their resources.

Administration
Task Tsar works around the clock to keep your servers up and functioning. Assign
Task Tsar your routine tasks such as file clean up. You can set it to
copy, move, or delete files that match wild-card parameters. You can target
names and extensions of your choice in directories of your choice. Additionally,
you can choose to have Task Tsar only remove files older than a date you set.
Other routines tasks you can assign to Task Tsar includes rebooting your
servers on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly schedule.
